The artist came into the town, completely unaware
That this would be the town where he would die
Hatsumi left her father's house, to seek the local fare
But her heart was stirred when she met the artist's eyes

For days the artist and Hatsumi never were apart
Hidden from her father's watchful eyes
He told her that they'd run away, he'd save her from her path
But all the words the artist spoke were lies

The artist tried, in the dead of night, to hurry out of town
His mind already fixed on things to come
Hatsumi woke and realised the artist broke his vow
She ran, distraught, into her father's arms

The Five Faced Fist expertly tracked him down

Her father was a ruthless man, but even he could see

Hatsumi stood, her tears now dry, and made her last demand
